Does KinSpense work without internet?+
Yes. Everything you record is saved on your phone first, so you can add expenses, check balances and get bill reminders with no connection. When you're back online, KinSpense syncs your changes to your account in the background.
Is KinSpense free?+
Yes. KinSpense is free to download, and the free plan covers expenses, income, bills, budgets, savings goals and insights on one device, backed up to your account. Premium ($2.99 a month or $24.99 a year) syncs across all your devices, removes the limits on accounts, budgets and goals, and adds 12-month insights and exports.
Does it connect to my bank or mobile money?+
No. KinSpense is a manual tracker: you record what you spend and receive. Adding an account called MTN MoMo or Bank only names it for you; KinSpense never connects to or moves money in those accounts.
Does it support my currency?+
KinSpense is multi-currency. Give each account its own currency, such as UGX, KES, TZS, NGN, ZAR, GHS, USD, EUR or GBP. Amounts in different currencies are never added together.
Can I use KinSpense on more than one device?+
The free plan works on one device, and your records are backed up to your account. With Premium, sign in on all your devices and your accounts, transactions, bills, budgets and goals stay in sync.
Is there a family plan?+
KinSpense Family is coming soon: one plan for your household, with shared bills, budgets and goals while personal spending stays personal. It will cost $5.99 a month or $59.99 a year.
Is my financial data private?+
Your records are stored encrypted on your phone and travel to your account over a secure connection. KinSpense shows no ads and we don't sell your data. You can also hide balances with one tap.
Is there an iPhone version?+
KinSpense is available on Android today. The iPhone version is coming soon.
